MNN EXCLUSIVE REPORT - BRIN ACKART FOR METROPLEX ATTORNEY GENERAL
I was lucky to catch up with Brin Ackart at his palatial
home and estate grounds this morning, with exclusive coverage on Mr. Ackart’s announcement for candidacy for Metroplex Attorney General.
“Call me Brin, please.”
“Brin, just where does your campaign office stand on current lawmaking and what are some of the major platforms you’ll be running on?”
“We’ve got a strong belief in
“Brin, how do feel about current levels of misappropriation and corruption in the court system today?”
“It’s out there, it’s real, but it also ebbs and flows like a tide. I really think we’re at high tide and it’s going to get better from here on out. I’m taking a stand for fairness, for removal of protections for the lawmaking elite and for adherence to current code. We’re asking Lone Star to enforce our laws, but we’ve got lawbreakers leaking out of the courts without receiving punishment. That won’t stand under my administration.”
“How do you feel about running for a position only ever held by humans, you would be a first, does that seem like a difficult task to overcome?”
“Sure, I’ve got concerns, but integrity is integrity, and justice can be meted out by any person of color, ethnicity or social status if they have it in their hearts to truly be a public servant. I care about the people of Seattle, especially the humans because I’ve got the opportunity to be an ambassador for my race here, and that’s an honor.”
“What would you like to tell voters, before we go?”
“Get out there and vote. Be a part of the democratic process, believe that we can better Seattle Metroplex, and I believe strongly that I can benefit the full range of all species of Humanity. Consider it time for change, to make a move toward prosperity.”

Justice comes out of the barrel of a gun, or manipulation of Mana in the Sixth World.
The Legal System is still trying to play catchup, after decades, and is woefully inadequate.
Ahh if only I had the vote . . .
Yep, color me worried. Not because of Ackart's race but his politics. Law enforcement should be fair, not a mechanism for "socio-economic change." The only way law enforcement can induce socio-economic change is if they play Robin Hood (or just Rob) and push the wealthy down to the level of the downtrodden. Most dictators create significant socio-economic change through law enforcement and result in a surprising level of equality, at least by percentages.
Combine this with the publicity stunts above and it spells trouble. Hitler was elected, after all. Okay, it wasn't a popular election as much as a constitutional election but the point remains that the Nazis were voted into power.
I guess that could be viewed as a bad thing if everyone was happy in the current sociological order. I'm not so sure they are these days. As far as I'm concerned, Metahumans in office are a boon to allof us, not just Metahumans.
They guy said a lot of nice and beautiful things... made me really hopeful. The I remembered one thing: he's a politician.
All of his talk ain't going to amount to drek down in Redmond. Laws exist for me to break them and stricter enforcement will just mean more Lone Star funerals; more widows, and if I get pissed off more orphans.
I've had dealing with this fragstick before.
He is a dirty sonofabitch.
Hard to believe he drug his sorry ass back to the plex.
I woke up this morning, stuck my head out the window and got a big whiff of bulldrek.
Then i remembered: Hey, it's an election year.
It's going to take a lot more than enforcing the status-quo to bring about "socio economic change"
I always wondered how the flowerbeds near city hall were always blooming so well.
Rich fertilizer, I guess.
I can't say if voting for any of the candidates area good or bad thing. After all that's a decision that each of us must make on our own. It's a choice that's just between you and the voting booth. But I do encourage to listen not just to what they're saying... but how they're saying it. Don't be fooled by clever buzzwords and claims of patriotism when all you want is a straight answer on the issues at hands. All I ask is that our public remembers on election day to Vote with your Eyes Open.
