What I wouldn't give to be in this, cracking skulls... legally. Ah, the endless fun. I could finally test out the overdrive cyberarm I recently customize. I'd giggle like a school girl if it were possible.

Faaaake. Boy how fake. I was a big fan of Battle League 1.0 and thought it was top shelf. Then I spent some time, ahem, away from home and missed BL 2.0.

It's amazing just how readily you can recognize a staged fight after you've seen people actually fighting for their lives.

This is what I'm fucking talking about. This is the king shit.

You will not find a more brutal trideo-ized or RL experience than this.

Pure carnage, pure fun.

If any of y'all think this is staged, I invite you to sign up and find out for yourself. You may be surprised by the result.

PS Get a good D' wagon account.

It's a soap opera for the ultra-violent sect.

Some days... I wonder how it is we can refer to our society as a "civilization". Well, most days, I guess.

Fake or not, you'll still find me in my dos on a Saturday night curled up with some Battle League and a few cold ones!

The battles are real, the deaths are not. Every participant gets their abilty to sense pain nerve stapled and then the "death" it's played to is just heart failure. With four to six minutes to prevent brain death, they just cut to a commercial when a battle is "finished" and move on with the medical care.

They say there are no rules, but there's a reason you so rarely see someone taking a head- or spine- shot. And of course, how could RaZoro possibly have returned for season two if it was actually to the death (in any real sense).

Alright, Battle League Fans! I need some work done in the *VERY* near future, and am willing to part with some tickets along with Nuyen for it.

Contact me soonest.

I'm interested, Money. Contact me directly on the wave, and we'll talk. Maybe over a drink at the Shadowlands.

This stuff is incredibly fake. One of the league's boys came into a military bar a while back, and I had the pleasure of seeing a gunnery sergeant beat him into the next century in the ring. Now... the Sgt happened to be an ex-Hard Corps Desert Wars vet... but that's neither here nor there.

Sorry Jambi, someone sent a private message three minutes before you did.

I did keep you as a secondary in case he didn't want it, or screwed up. I'll keep you in mind for the next gig.

If it's any consolation, he got shot in the Hoop and can't enjoy the seat he got, seeing as he'll have to stand for the event. ;-)
