BREAKING NEWS - Renaldo Joganic Update

This is Trish Donaldson for WKSN News.

Earlier this month, Renaldo Joganic was caught hacking the UCAS Bank and was publicly lynched for being a Technomancer. At that time, Lone Star collected Renaldo's body for DNA testing and we now have positive confirmation that Mr. Joganic, AKA Blue Monday was in fact a Technomancer.

Lone Star representative, Jane Hawkins told WKSN News that Mr. Joganic, had been undergoing long term treatment for Artificially Induced Psychotropic Schizophrenia Syndrome (AIPS) at a local medical facility.

"No one is really sure, when Renaldo escaped from the facility. No video camera captured the escape and the security system had actually been hacked to display a loop of video, so it looked like the patient had never left. What's even weirder is that the hospital logs still listed that he was being checked on daily. After a bit of investigating, we found that the nurse checking on Renaldo didn't actually exist and that her pay was being deposited to a hacked UCAS Bank account. It seems to us that Renaldo Joganic hacked the hospital computers, escaped unnoticed and went to collect the money, that he had scammed from the hospital," said Jane Hawkins

"While Lone Star doesn't condone this sort of vigilante justice, the Seattle citizens involved did use a favor and took out a very dangerous criminal," said Sargent Banks.

BREAKING NEWS - ALMAX BIOTECHNOLOGY ATTACKED

This is Trish Donaldson for WKSN News.

Heavy gunfire and multiple explosions rocked the Almax Biotechnology facility early this morning.

Pete Derie, a representative for Almax Biotechnology had this to say, "The attack early this morning was completely unprovoked and right now, we're trying to get to the bottom of this. We sustained heavy property damage and several of our security guards were killed during this attack."

"Lone Star did respond to our emergency alert, but got here far too late to do anything but gawk at the damage. So, we cancelled their contract and removed them from the scene. Knight Errant, will now be providing security for this facility."

Lone Star representative, Jane Hawkins told WKSN News that they think Almax overreacted. "We've provided reliable security for Almax Biotechnology, for well over a decade now and we've been extremely discrete. It's interesting, that we were removed from the scene before we could get a closer look at the burning wreckage or bring in a proper investigation squad."

UCAS NEWS - YAKUZA VIOLENCE ERUPTS

Lone Star SWAT and UCAS standing militia forces were called in to Run Run Shaw’s on 6th Avenue this afternoon as a gun battle started inside the restaurant and spilled out into the street. At least 6 known Yakuza gunmen were killed along with 5 restaurant patrons, a waitress and a line cook.

The reason for the gun battle and by whom it was instigated remains a mystery at this hour.

Three cars sped from the scene and two of the three were destroyed by UCAS forces with Northrup Wasp attack helicopters. The remaining car has not been located, according to Lone Star representative Jane Hawkins.

Two DocWagon Crisis Response Teams were present, attempting to extract one of their contracts. A brief standoff occurred between heavily armed DocWagon staff and UCAS Urban Assault Forces, tensions rose as the DocWagon CRT Osprey II’s hovered overhead and their extraction teams repelled from the aircraft to take defensive positions around the restaurant. Although there was much shouting between UCAS forces and DocWagon CRT’s, no shots were fired.

When UCAS’ Ares Citymaster armored personnel carriers arrived on the scene minutes later, DocWagon stood down and allowed UCAS and Lone Star SWAT to enter and tactically sweep the property.

Lone Star is hoping citizens will come forward with video footage or an eyewitness account. Contact Lone Star if you have any further information regarding this violent outburst. Lone Star coroner teams still at this hour continue to keep Run Run Shaw’s shut down.

Lone Star representative, Jane Hawkins told WKSN News that they dispursted the crowd, but by that time the damage had already been done.

The Technomancer has yet to be identified and Lone Star has taken the body in for DNA testing and examination.

BREAKING NEWS - A VICTORY FOR LONE STAR?

This is Trish Donaldson for WKSN News.

Lone Star representative, Jane Hawkins told WKSN News that their new "Crackdown Campaign" went into full effect last night and from what we are being told, Lone Star forces raided a safehouse belonging to the Halloweeners early this morning.

Officer Ross Andrews, stated that the raid on Pier 54 was a complete success and that the gang has been broken.

He also stated that no serious injuries were sustained by Lone Star forces during the raid, making it a home run in his book.

Could this be the PR push that Lone Star needs to maintain its contracts with Seattle? Only time will tell.
