I'm excited for this, not because I'm getting a cybernetic replacement (Although I came close with the left arm), but as a DocWagon shareholder.
This is big news for DocWagon customers! Shorter waiting times, and discounts on good quality Cyberlimbs, depending on the class of DocWagon Subscription you have!
Admittedly, when first installed, there are no options, but DocWagon's cyberlimbs use standardized ports and slots, allowing for all the standard options we know, love, and abuse. :-D
Ah good old DocWagon.
I've seen many people who's lives have been saved by their brave gurney-jockeys.
That being said I find myself smiling at this new turn of events. They've expanded their name-brand awareness into the spare parts business. Not that this is a bad thing. DocWagon can't afford bad publicity so we can expect a certain level of standards from them... or multiple levels of standards depending on what class of customer you are. IF there's a serious flaw in your DocWagon brand metal arm, they can't pass the blame as easily as they could with one made by an independant.
And as Money said... these limbs will be standardised so you can bank on them having all the ports and slots you could need to make life fun.
