Scam
Show me a organized religion that isn't a scam or a Government (Which is just a really big scam, when you break it down.).
It could be worse than a scam, omae; they could mean it. There's only two kinds of people who keep me awake at night: those who work for the almighty dollar, and those who think they work for the Almighty. Stay safe out there chummers.

Great. A cult for the awakened. This is nothing but bad waiting to happen. All we need is for another Aum Shinrikyo to gather up people who can throw spells.
Those nutjobs were motivated enough to make Sarin and VX nerve gas 90 years ago and to buy their own helicopter gunship. Who's to say these won't try their own variant of the Ghost Dance?
