BREAKING NEWS - PUBLIC LYNCHING

This is Trish Donaldson for WKSN News.

Reports are coming in about a public lynching, that took place early this afternoon.

From what we're being told, a Technomancer was caught hacking into the Downtown UCAS Bank by local citizens and that they took matters into their own hands. Within a few minutes a large crowd had gathered and was calling for blood.

Lone Star representative, Jane Hawkins told WKSN News that they dispursted the crowd, but by that time the damage had already been done.

The Technomancer has yet to be identified and Lone Star has taken the body in for DNA testing and examination.

Aw frag... This is where it begins. :-(

And who wants to bet we don't ever see the body again now that it's in the Star's Clutches?

This is starting to fraggen feel like '39 all over again.
No doubt the Star just watched it happen.

I'm scared. But also armed. Scared and armed. Not a good combo.

You're not the only one. Gun Shops and Munition companies are showing record profits in the last few days.

What bothers me is how John & Jane Public were able to identify anyone performing a hack. I mean, how many of these people will have the software, let alone the skill, to recognize a hack in progress? Unless the guy was dancing around singing "I'm hacking your bank" they shouldn't have noticed squat.

What do you want to bet they just lynched some poor schlub playing the Shadowrun MMORPG.

My guess it that the mob was 1. informed, or 2. maybe not so "pitchforks and torches". Possibly a staged hit to look like a "Public Lynching".

Still want to see what eveidence they have that he was hackin' the bank. Or how the mob knew...
