Needs less talk, and more music! He does put the smack down on idiot callers very well, however. Too bad the world is full of idiots.
"So many targets, so little ammo." as one Decker chummer of mine put it. 'Course, he paid his way through University by working Tech Support...
Talk radio sucks. And so does top-40 drek. Gimme some techo-thrash. Goblin rock works too.
'Course I'm not sure why anybody would listen to the radio with so much free music on the 'trix.
Radio gives a good indication of what's going on in a city, as well as Corporations. Much better than any Corporate Report, Fact-Finding Mission, and so on.
Radio is also one of the most cost-effective forms of advertising around. The Datasheets are just read once, and that's it (If that), and Trid is too pricey.
And don't forget that the majority of people are Sheep, and need to be told what they like to listen to.
That said, I agree 100%, the music is drek, but beats listening to whiney-hoop callers. But it does give some good info on what's really going on in the business world.
Devon's pretty good people, gives us metahumans a fair shake whenever possible, IMHO. He may only be reporting the news that is given to him, but usually it dosen't seem like he spins it in his favor too much.
That chick in the afternoon is really fraggen good.
