Wonder how many of these items comes out of an Aztechnology Factory (Or whatever) like all the other Talismonger Shopes in the world?

Here's a good question, why's a Mundane like myself asking that? ;-P

Probably 95% of their items are manufactured. It's in being able to identify the last 5%, and of that 5% what is a mundane artifact and what has true magical properties: that is the key.

I'm just curious what language that blessing is in. My 'net-fu is pretty good but not up to this task.

At first I expected it to be one of the dialects native to India (dot not feather), as Barshi is home to a notable temple there. However the sentence structure and post-verb modifier is appropriate for Ojibwe, commonly referred to as Chippewa indians (feather not dot). Conversely, there is the possibility it refers to the an area just outside of Damascus in Syria.

Nothing bothers me more than talisma from an unknown source. Magic is tied up in symbolism and intent. Not knowing what symbolism went into the enchantment is dangerous. It's like finding a gun with unknown symbols on the safety selector. Until you pull the trigger you have no idea if the gun is going to fire.

I 'bought' one of their products once, a nice little foci glove for my pretty lightning bolts and it worked like a beauty....right up until the point where I tried to channel enough mojo through the piece to fry a chromed troll. Piece of drek sizzled and sparked all pretty like and burnt out on me as I started to run for my life. These things are meant for wagemages who need some help so they don't pass out on the job, they're not meant for shadow work, can't stand up under pressure. It's a shame too, I liked that glove.

Foci, Guns, and Programs. Never cheap out when you buy one, it's not worth it.

And, by cheap, I'm not talking Nuyen, but Quality.

And I know what you're talking about, Trigger. It's so hard to find good material that's also fashionable. Still miss my Glock 82C. It went great with my Neo-Tux.
