I agree this thing looks badass. I wouldn't fuck with anyone with this system.

Mars Defence Systems is, obviously, a Subsidiary of Ares, but didn't start out that way.

It was a Fuchi Orphan years ago, was able to go independant, until being snatched up by Ares at a Fire Sale. (Literally, someone torched their main warehouse/offices.).

This design was one of Knight Errant's attempts to get that Dunkelzhan's Will Non-Leathal weapon, on the grounds that a self-defence weapon that intimidated a person into surrendering allowed it to be useful.

Didn't fly, and here it is on the market.

Low-Lethal, acutally, not Non-Lethal. Small difference, but the Law does matter in this. (Underbridge, care to make a comment?)

Odin knows I don't shy away from killing, but it's not always needed:
1: Gel rounds are decent, but still can cause internal injuries that kill.
2: Narcojet (And competetor variants) is great, but there's still a portion of the population that has alergic reactions to it.

Oh, and Tasers and Knockout Dart Launchers are not classed as "Firearms" in the UCAS and CAS, so can be carried concealed, and need no special licenses or permits, aside from a proof that you're over 18-years old to buy them and ammo. Fake Driver's License works.

Hehe. In my experience, it's the lethal looking ones that fire the blanks. If they fire at all. People like them, Mr Wang can't help...but I can. *grins*
